CompWizards was founded in 2004 by Nancy Newmark after spending many years at several high tech companies designing, developing, implementing and managing compensation structures and programs. By bringing extensive compensation expertise as well as an in depth understanding of the client market, the firm is able to provide thoughtful and intelligent solutions to all compensation problems and needs. Recognizing that all companies have different business models and work cultures, solutions are customized and also designed to allow for adaptability based on clients’ current and future needs. The firm includes a team of seasoned wizards, who are professionals in the fields of compensation or data management. They are dedicated to delivering high quality results to client projects and ongoing client support.
Founder and Managing Director
Nancy Newmark has over 20 years experience as a human resources professional, specializing in compensation. She is passionate about working with clients to design competitive compensation structures and programs. She has an innate ability to understand complex business situations and implications and to strategically solve compensation problems and needs. As a successful consultant, she has worked with a multitude of clients across industries, specializing with high-tech and life sciences companies with high growth and rapid change. Nancy’s philosophy is to keep it simple with a sophisticated touch and to interpret and apply reliable industry market data for a competitive advantage.
Nancy’s corporate experience prior to consulting includes several high tech companies with her in-house career starting at Advanced Micro Devices and concluding at eBay as the first manager of the compensation function through years of extensive company growth.
Nancy has an MBA from University of Chicago with concentrations in Human Resource Management and Business Policy and a BS, Management from Tulane University, New Orleans with a concentration in finance.

The CompWizards team includes several professionals with different areas of expertise, including sophisticated data modeling, complex analysis, program development, tool development and client support.
All wizards have multiple years of compensation experience in the high tech and life sciences industries.
