Nancy has over 20 years of experience as a distinguished Silicon Valley compensation strategist. She has built her career on leadership roles at tech pioneers like eBay and AMD, where she designed and implemented comprehensive global compensation programs and structures, including salary ranges, bonus plans, equity programs, and executive compensation.
At CompWizards, Nancy leverages her extensive expertise to partner with clients in developing competitive compensation frameworks that address complex business needs and drive growth while focusing on attracting, motivating and retaining talent. Her approach centers on sophisticated simplicity—interpreting and applying market data to create straightforward, impactful solutions that align with business strategies.
Nancy's broad experience allows her to bring diverse perspectives and tailored solutions to each client's unique compensation challenges, whether they're startups, scale-ups, or established enterprises. Her ability to adapt strategies across different industries, with a particular focus on emerging technology and life sciences, ensures that her clients receive cutting-edge compensation advice that's both innovative and practical.
Nancy holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, specializing in Human Resource Management and Business Policy, and a BS in Business Management from Tulane University with a concentration in Finance. When not revolutionizing compensation strategies, Nancy is dedicated to health and wellness, finding joy in the vibrant energy of Sedona's red rock trails. Her adventures are made even more delightful by her faithful furry companion, Poza, whose name fittingly means "joy" in Basque.

Alex Tartour has led hundreds of successful customer engagements, combining compensation expertise with a people-centric approach. At CompWizards, Alex specializes in managing global base salary and equity administration, job classification, geographic pay, salary range development, and market-competitive analysis as well as client education and training. With over a decade at CompWizards and prior experience as a client, Alex brings a rare insider's perspective to every engagement.
Alex's background spans compensation, HRIS, training, and the full employee lifecycle, enabling her to craft holistic strategies that support companies from pre-IPO to public stages. Prior to CompWizards, she worked as a Workday (HRIS) & Compensation Analyst at Rally Software Development, implementing and maintaining the CompWizards' compensation structure and managing compensation survey data submissions and Workday system configurations and updates. Alex also demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit by owning a Pure Barre studio.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising, International Media, and Dance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her spare time, she is a voice actress and fitness instructor, bringing her diverse talents to every aspect of her professional and personal life.

His 25+ years of experience as a software architect spans leadership roles at industry pioneers like Oracle and Symantec, where he designed and implemented scalable, high-performance systems that powered core business functions. From crafting elegant integration solutions to optimizing system resiliency and user experiences, Chris brings a versatile skill set that enables him to drive results across the full solution lifecycle.
At CompWizards, Chris' deep technical expertise and business acumen enable him to design solutions that deliver measurable value for our clients, empowering them to achieve their strategic compensation objectives with confidence. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Information Technology Management with a specialization in Communications and Network Infrastructure from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University)

James is currently Head of Marketing at Certa, an AI-powered SaaS platform automating third-party risk and compliance management. His career highlights include leadership roles at Microsoft, where he contributed to the launch of Microsoft Teams and drove Azure cloud adoption initiatives, and at Nokia, where he led marketing efforts for the world's first professional-grade VR camera.
At CompWizards, he leverages his startup and enterprise SaaS experience to design go-to-market plans and advise on growth strategies. James holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS in Economics from Georgetown University.
